Targa Florio Update Build v.0.2.05 [Assetto Corsa]

Here's an update that adds a Autumn/Fall version to the track for some more variety. Seasons in the lower Madonie mountains of Sicily work different to central Europe and after a lush green Spring the grass turns brown over the Summer, only to get green again in Winter. Many of the trees and bushes are evergreen anyways.
Another plus of this update is more colour range in the grassfx, it reacts to the ground's shade and so the landscape's variation is much more present. The improvements to the grassfx also affect the Spring version.
This autumn theme will show up as a skin option under CM skin option

Adjusted render distances of some objects. No more holes at distance landscapes

Been using this track for a couple of months now. Dude.. this track is so amazing. This and Nords are all I need. The pure driving experience of this track is second to none.

2025-03-12 19:56:22 +0000 UTCI tested to replicate laptime records of specific cars in Assetto and sometimes on those roads i had to choose "Old" to not be faster than those record holding IRL racing drivers (which i'm obviously not one of them). So "Old" is a realistic setting here. In the discription by Kunos even "Green" is still a race track tarmac, which is just damp or a bit wet at the start and does improve over time by racing on it. This one here is not modern tarmac of a track. It's old with some cracks and with decades of wear.

2024-11-26 20:12:19 +0000 UTCHey, quite a big oversight that I didn't mention it, in Content Manager's 'Drive' section you'll find an option to choose skins under the track's preview, under 'Content/Tracks' you'll find the skins listed on the right side of the track's page. And there you'll see 'Autumn' as a skin, the Spring version is the default as that's when the race was.
