How are you guys doing?

It's already Monday again! How come weekends feel so fast??

Well I hope you all had a great one. and of course, stay safe and healthy!

Been quite a busy week for me. I have a deadline incoming in two weeks. Still a LOT of frames to render. And even during weekend, I have to pop up every now and then to monitor the render progress, as sometimes there could be an error on the renderfarm PCs.

But anyway, that's actually a good reason for me to stay seated in front of my PC hahaha, so I've been continuing to work on updating the track with the new data.

And I want to share a bit on the process how I input these banking angles to the track mesh

So this is the overall track's basic mesh. It's still in parametric mode, where determining the banking angles can be done accurately. Divided into 54 parts.

and this is the graph data of a single part, showing the banking angle of the road's mesh. Here is where we add control points and control the angle of each points.

well the rest is basically about transferring the value from the recorded data, and add more control points as necessary. It's not actually a hard thing to do, but all you need is patience! hahaha.

And now we are at part 27, which is exactly halfway! well, not exactly, since all parts have different length, but it's roughly there.

For the next two weeks however, I'm gonna be back working on Campofelice. I reeeally want to get this last town done and moving to the next stage lol.

Btw, did you guys watch the virtual leMans 24Hr? :D
