Weekly Progress #46

Hello hello...!

How are you guys doing? I truly hope everyone is safe and healthy.

Specially for you guys who's living in the US, please stay safe. I can only watch from the news about the situation there. I hope it won't escalate any worse.

I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting my progress lately. I do still making progress btw :P

Thank you very much for your support and trust. I want to emphasize once more that I'm still very motivated to work on this project. So no matter what, I always make some time to work on the track, no matter how small the progress is. It just doesn't feel good for me if I don't make a progress in a day :D

a little secret I want to share with you guys.. I'm not very good with words XD

creating post like this can take 2 hours just to think about what to write lol. Some of my friends said I always overthinking things, and I couldn't agree more hahaha. 

Anyway, back on the track :P

It's already the beginning of the month again. I know I usually updated the test build every beginning of a new month, but it looks like I'm gonna have to skip for this time. 

not because there hadn't been any progress at all. there are a few additional buildings, but most of the time I was working on updating the track's physical mesh with the new data. and unfortunately the update cannot be release partially.

I have to update the entire track, adjust the landscape next to the road, and then release the build as a major update.

Ah, just in case you're wondering what in the world I'm talking about,

Last year, our friend Beni and Mitchi actually went to Sicilly. they drive a few laps around the track (which envied me a LOT) and record the data all around the track.

This is such a precious data, and probably the most detailed data of targa florio track available today.

And so, I've been updating the track since. little by little, meter by meter. Well to be honest, it's not a difficult task, but the road just seems endless hahaha.

so, I hope you guys stay patience with me. And I can't stress enough how much I appreciate your trust and support. It really mean a LOT to me.

one and last thing I want to share is, I (finally) made a discord account (yes, I've never used discord before). Currently there is only one text channel in the server. perhaps the first thing we can discuss is how should I create new channel for different topics, and how to create patron-only channel XD
