Since Twitter is now dead, I needed something else to put news on my website. In fact the only real reason I used Twitter was because it posted stuff to my website. It stopped working when this psycho rate limit stuff started happening on Twitter. It seems embeds don't work at all now, at least for me.
I get around 80,000 monthly visits on my personal website, so even if nothing I do makes waves on Twitter, it's worth having it--or it was worth having it--just as a quick and easy news feed for my site. I have no idea if embeds will someday start working again, but for now I've embedded an RSS feed from the Succubus Stories free edition Itch.io devlog, so I might start posting a bit more there. Patreon unfortunately does not have any option to embed or any sort of RSS feed.
For now the embedded feed is kinda fugly, but I'll probably clean it up in the future if Twitter doesn't get its shit together.
