"Succubus Stories: Convent" Preview

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The second mod is shaping up to be quite significant. The goal here is to hit most of the major moddable game systems in one mod, and also to make that mod big enough to stress test elements of the modding system itself. It's not a gigantic mod, but it will feature about as much content as the coven, plus a new general activity you can do in public, plus a new sexual encounter action with content for several different encounter types.

I'm previewing this content separately from the v0.11 update, since I don't want confused free edition players asking where this stuff is.

Before we get into it, I do want to take a moment to talk to my non-Windows patrons. Mod support only works with the executable build of the game, which only works on Windows systems (at least for now). This content is functionally exclusive to a subset of patrons for that reason, and because I'm making this content, v0.11 will be a smaller than normal update. So I just want to give my apologies to patrons who aren't on Windows, I know content will be a little light for you this time around, but I do see you and appreciate you. I don't intend to make you second-class citizens; I won't be making ton of stuff that's released as mods, at least not until after the game is completed, but the system does need to be put through its paces, so I ask for your continued patience while I do that.

I also want to stress that this content is designed to test mod support, so while it adds some fun and sexy stuff and I hope you will enjoy it, I do expect there to be bugs. I will be kinda shocked and impressed with myself if it just works. Insert a Todd Howard clip here.

So what's actually in the mod? Let's take a look.

The Convent Sub-Area

I am sorry if I mix up coven and convent. I have a feeling that will happen at some point. They are very similar words to my eyes and fingers.

Anyway, this sub-area is the meat and potatoes of the mod. It adds a sub-area to the lake that's basically exactly like the coven in the forest or the tavern in the bandit camp. This subarea features a new faction you can join that you will have a reputation with, though this reputation doesn't really work the same way as the others since this faction won't be present in the game's main story. To join up, talk to the head priestess.

Whether you join or not, you'll be able to make use of the "services" the priestesses offer, which is basically freeuse content. You'll need to take a futa potion to use the services. If you join the faction you'll be able to access the other side of these activities, becoming a priestess and getting used by people. In total there are five activities:

• Use a flesh urinal.
• Use a living fucktoy.
• Serve as a flesh urinal.
• Serve as a living fucktoy.
• Bathe with fellow priestesses in the purity bath.

Some of the above have to be unlocked via perks. See below for more on the perks in this mod.

You can also chat a bit with the head priestess for some lore and a surprising connection between this strange religion and the player character's past.

You can also donate Sloppy Lubricant potions to the head priestess for faction rep, which actually goes toward unlocking the perks featured in this mod, since, again, this is not a normal faction that will impact story events.

The Other New Activity

As a priestess of the nameless goddess, it'll be up to the player character to spread the good news. By proselytizing in public locations, she can provide sexual relief to the needy masses and preach about her deity.

This activity requires perks to unlock, and additional options for it are unlocked as you gain additional perks.

Sexual Encounter Actions

After earning a certain perk, the player character will unlock a new action for all four of the straight sexual encounter types. Like dirty talking, this is essentially the same sex act for each one, but it comes in many different flavors based on the type of encounter.

New Perks

There are four new perks: Faithful Servant, Freeuse Fucktoy, Submissive and Breedable (lol), and Public Use Slut. Various new features are locked behind these perks. You can progress toward unlocking these perks only by engaging in the activities featured in this mod, or by gaining faction rep with the priestesses.

• Faithful Servant unlocks the ability to serve as a living fuckdoll at the convent.
• Freeuse Fucktoy unlocks the proselytize activity.
• Submissive and Breedable unlocks the new encounter actions, mentioned above.
• Public Use Slut unlocks more options during the proselytize activity.

Coming Soon

The mod is actually almost done, but I'm concerned people won't download it if it's not paired with an update, so I may release this and the update at the same time. What do you all think? Would you rather get both at once? Would you go out of your way to download something of this size or just wait for the update anyway? Should I release the mod as soon as it's done?
