Quick update on my plans for December.
Added 2021-11-21 08:51:50 +0000 UTCIn the last development update post I made, which you can read here, I mentioned that I would probably need to create either a smaller update or push v0.11 back, since I am spending a lot of dev time on the convent mod. I suggested that maybe I'd have a poll regarding that.
I've decided not to have a poll about that, instead I want to go with a smaller update and try to stay on track for a mid-December release for v0.11. The reason is simple, I wasn't thinking it through. Getting anything done in late-December or early-January will be difficult with the holidays, meaning any potential delay could wind up quite long, and I don't want you guys to have to wait through another lengthy content delay like that.
So how is this gonna work? Well, what I'm gonna do is delay the Rais romance and the continuation of chapter 4 until after the holidays, and bump up a few other things, like expanding futanari content and potions, adding the chit-chat feature I already mentioned, and adding some more interesting and complex requests. So basically I'm making a pure side content update. There is actually precedence for this; if I recall correctly, the Witches' Coven update was basically all side content, too. It's unusual, and not ideal, but it's not unheard of.
I'll also probably bring the hand-drawn art to the free edition then. It's a little earlier than I planned originally, but it will help me round out the update for free users, since the convent mod is gonna be patron-only. I do know there are patrons who can't use mod support because they don't play on Windows--I know you guys are out there and I'm sorry this update will be a little light for you. I'm don't want to overly favor Windows users, but there is no viable path to mod support for other systems right now, so I appreciate your patience.
Thanks! We'll talk more soon. Also, if you're a $10 patron, vote in this poll to help me select artwork for Itch.io!
