The State of the Game (v0.6.0, February 2021)

Let's run through the metrics of v0.6.0, including the increases since the last version:
- About 150,000 words (+20,000) (Note that this word count does include some scripting.)
- 12 requests (+1)
- 212 encounter scenes (no change)
- 32 activities (+4)
- 22 perks (no change)
- 76 traits (+1)
- 28 potions (+1)
- 40 unique CGs (no change)
Overall about an average update, though it's mostly story, so it may not add a lot of repeatable content. I plan to have a bit of a more balanced update in v0.7 and then an update of mostly side content (like v0.5) for v0.8. I expect chapter 2 to be wrapped up in v0.7, but it may stretch into v0.8 depending on how long it takes to resolve all the branching paths featured in chapter 2.
As mentioned in the update preview, I'm thinking about changing the timing or size (or both) of updates after the March update. How exactly this will work out or how I'll handle the intricacies of that is something I intend to discuss at length in the coming weeks, and I'll be asking for your feedback as well. I do need to reduce my workload a bit, though. The margins are just too tight, and the stress is starting to get to me. I don't want to burn out, and my real job has been picking up a little bit, so I need to ease off the throttle. But we'll talk more about this later. For now, the March update is gonna drop in mid-March, as you'd expect, and it should be around the normal size.
