FYI: The Patron Edition for the Web
Added 2020-08-29 08:40:49 +0000 UTCJust want to clarify something. The patron edition of Succubus Stories is available for the web and Windows, just like the free edition. For right now, the Windows and web version have almost complete feature parity (the web version just has a few extra configs the executable version does not need). In the future, the executable versions of the games may get unique features, particularly mod support and custom art support, and when that happens, I do intend to look into supporting Mac and Linux better so that patrons on those systems get their money's worth.
I also want to note that the web version of the game is compatible with smart phones and tablets as well. It's not a great experience on phones right now, and I hope to improve the UI on smaller viewports, but it is playable, and on tablet its actually pretty close to the desktop experience, if I do say so myself.
I wanted to clarify this as a person who unpledged a few weeks ago did not believe the patron edition existed for the web.

Addendum: I've also now (as of 9/3/2020) made the browser version downloadable for both the free and patron editions of the game, so if Itch is down or your internet is spotty you can still play offline on non-Windows platforms! In general, Windows users will probably still want the executable versions of the game, as some features will be unique to that version in the mid- and long-term future.
