This is a patch that mostly adjusts in-game balance. In general, encounters should be shorter and more succinct. You may also now skip most encounters (click the skip button under the camera button on the right during an encounter, or press K on the keyboard).
I have my eyes on some additional balance changes as well, so stay tuned for those.
