State of the Webcomic report: July 15, 2019 ^^

Well, we're halfway through our hiatus, and writing quite a bit day by day. As inspiration strikes Riff and I, we stop, turn our laptops on, and start writing down notes. As we're writing, we look at each other, smile and think, "This story arc is going to make "Dark Reflections" seem like Tommy Wiseau's "The Room". *^^*

That's how awesome this story is so far, and we're dying to let Patreons get a sneak peek.

Just give us a bit longer, and then we're going to grace you all with some really great stuff. Like the first FIVE pages of the new story arc. *^^*

We appear to be doing okay as far as expenses go. We have enough funds right now to at least get three pages done a month for the time being, and we've narrowed down our choices for a new pencil artist to two people. We're gravitating to the one with the experience working with Seven Seas Entertainment, so you might be seeing a more "manga" feel to the characters. ^^ However, still in the running is an artist with DC, Marvel Comics, and Image Comics experience under his belt. *^^*

Which ever way we go, you won't be disappointed with the quality!

We're still running hot on the web, with about 30,000 visitors now a month, and we hope the addition of the new fan-fiction section (and yes, you may write something if you want!) and up-and-coming merch shop will really set us up well for future Patreons. A NEW Patreon tier is coming also as we'll have an abundance of cameos we can offer in this story, as well as minor characters. This time, we'll be able to satisfy requests for these positions, so stay tuned for that too. It'll be a $50 tier, and will cover the present perks, discounts on merchandise, cameos for your characters, and probably the most important, a free ad-space on our "the Depths" sidebar - for whatever you want to draw attention to. (and you'll get a lot of views, like we said, about 30,000 a month and rising)
