This is where we stand... ^^
Added 2019-05-03 13:03:01 +0000 UTCAs you can see, production has slowed down just a little bit although we are still committed to getting at least three pages a month put out. We're putting together a few new items for the website soon, including an online store for "The Depths" merchandise we'd like to offer, a page for original "South Seas adventure" type stories people can showcase, and any other ideas that we can think of that will help the website become a bit more popular - and thus the webcomic as well. *^^*
Our aim is to be able to sell enough merchandise and ad-space to interested clients also that we can afford to get other artists on board and create even more comics. <3
GoDaddy statistics for May indicate we could see up to 31,000 unique visitors this month - and over one million hits for the link. So we definitely are happy with the results so far. The idea that 1,000 new people are visiting the site daily is rather extraordinary for a site just 8 months old, yes? *^^*
The main story arc is nearing its end and we'll be taking a much needed break for about a month to refine, re-tool, and re-write the next story arc, and we hope we'll have you all on board still. While we're away, KJ is going to be creating a new short-subject comic called "Wild Coast". This is an off-shoot of "The Depths" in some ways, as we're going a bit into the future here, and we'll meet some of the ancestry of the past. Again, illustrated by KJ.
