That is true, but the term treasure can be vague. Still... hopefully at the end there are less 'aggressive' deals to obtain black pearls

There's a reason why there are many myths around pearldiving and it used to be a true profession. Even the normal pearls used to be very expensive! On the other hand, in worlds where otters are common, they might always have been easier retrievable than in the human world.
