So, what's happening here? Just as wild and savage Leilani is, a wolf like David is able to "tame" the beast, making love to her and giving her what she truly needs... <3
The significance of the lone oyster on the ocean floor, as Dragon-Tear observed, is indeed a discarded relic of sorts. Leilani's secret trove of black oysters should remain hers and David's alone...and is a symbol that Leilani's love for David is more precious than those pearls.
A lot of action is coming soon...and we will be seeing this oyster again... *^^*
