The water grew colder and darker the deeper she went. She was almost at her limit when she spotted the bottom not too far ahead of her – and something looming out of the silt and murk nearby. As Kalea touched the sandy floor and glanced around her, she saw a large wooden structure, and upon closer inspection realized it was a shipwreck. What had once been a tubby, majestic, and awe-inspiring vessel of the waves was now nothing more but splintered, jagged wood and iron, buried under debris and dripping algae, sponges and seaweed. Kalea swam the length of the vessel and spotted a large hole in its hull, more than twice her size.
She looked up briefly towards the unseen surface and sighed to relieve some pressure on her lungs. Maybe, she thought, she could look quickly around inside before returning to the surface to breathe.

Voting for June was close, again, but I guess enough individuals liked the idea of Kalea getting a story of her own at last., *^^*
I hope I haven't disappointed with this short but arousing tale of Kalea's adventure while diving. She discovers a shipwreck, yes...
But what she discovers inside will take her breath away...
