The Depths Newsletter: May, 2018

Okay, so...I have many things to report. Bear with me. Again, I'm still very new to Patreoning, having only been at this a month, but I have to say, if I've done this well in a month, I'm so excited to see what is coming in May!

People wanting to see Malana at last will not have much longer to wait, as I plan to have art that was created by Umpherio available here for you. I'm also working on getting Kalea illustrated as well. I think you'll find these two beautiful otter girls deserve just as much attention as Leilani. <3 

Look for Malana to appear here tomorrow, and for you higher tiers, I've included a much larger, high-resolution drawing copy as well.

"The Shallows" will make its debut here as well, hopefully tomorrow. Those still curious, "The Shallows" is a hilarious, sometimes-sexy, one-page comic strip, featuring the characters of "The Depths" in off-the-wall, zany, funny situations. This is a special gift to all the Patreon supporters, and yet another way I plan to bring "The Depths" to the top of the comic charts.

At last viewing, "The Depths" was listed at a healthy #126 ranking of the top 250 most read comics, according to Belfry. It's shot past "Lackadaisy", which inspired me to create this comic in the 1920s in the first place. *^^*

Still time to get me more story ideas you may have for the monthly "Splash". "Splashes", as I said, are short stories I will write once a month, accompanied by appropriate artwork from the legend himself, Twinkle-sez. This first story I wrote just happens to provide a beautiful segue to what is about to happen a bit later in the comic. So, as you're reading this one, just imagine this happening about the same time as Leilani and David are plunging headlong into the depths to consummate their love fully - and the wolf learns a fantastic and unwittingly terrible secret...
