Character Design: Clown Girl
Added 2024-03-06 15:07:32 +0000 UTCPulling back the curtain a bit to show you guys the design process of a new character we're working on, who we'll simple call "Clown Girl" for now. The idea was to create a nemesis for Rebound that would routinely inflate her like a balloon and/or fatten her up (along with anyone else we would like). We started by trying to incorporate visual elements of balloons, ice cream, a circus tent and "Magical Girl" in her design and then did our best to balance and streamline those into something cohesive, with things coming together once we decided to cast Shannon in the role. In the end we realized when trying to work out a color scheme that it wasn't quite hitting the notes we wanted, so we ultimately decided to start over and approach the final design from a slightly different direction, which we'll be sharing in the future.
