Carnival 2025 Photoshoot

I'm so blown away by these photos by Al Marshall! Here's the backstory of a photoshoot that almost never was: I had to cancel my planned photoshoot in LA that I normally try to do after LA Carnival. It just wasn't going to work out with the timing of other events that day. I told myself no biggie, I could always take the photos some other time. But AT CARNIVAL a friend pointed out that my hair (which took about 3 hours) was perfect for the costume, so I actually needed to take the photos asap. Here's the problem: I was leaving for The Bahamas 3 days after LA Carnival. I decided to reach out to one of my favorite Vegas photographers, Al, just to see if he could maybe squeeze me in if I paid for a studio. The stars all aligned (even getting my wings to Vegas was a bit of luck: I ran into a friend who happened to have driven from Vegas and got him to agree to take them back. I had to pick them up from him at his job lol) and we got these amazing photos. I'm so thankful to Roland for taking my wings and Al for agreeing to a last minute shoot!
