The Neighborhood - Aysheen character sheet.

The silence stretched for what felt like hours by now, the youngster sweating quite profusely by now as he waited for the verdict. Finally though, the redhead scoffed and glanced at him over the ID in her hand, only to flick it his way, chuckling when he fumbled to catch the laminated card.  

“Tell Jake that he’s slipping. Mississippi doesn’t have that many Ps in it.” She said with a smirk, shooing him away with her hand. “Now, get that fake out of my face and your ass out of my bar before I end up kicking both”  

“Bloody college kids, can’t even bother to get a decent fake these days…..what?” Asks the redhead when one of her regulars gives her a weird look. Rolling her eyes, she quickly refills his glass and starts cleaning up. “Just because the last officer sent here was cute, doesn’t mean I want them here daily. Now, finish that up and get your ass out too, I’m closing early today. Well, if you can call 2 AM early…..”  

Ignoring the grumbling, she made her rounds around the bar to cash in and clean up, finally flipping the closed sign over when the last of the customers left. “Maybe I should really get myself some help here, especially with the semester starting again….I swear, it’s like I’m running a college bar some nights…”  

“Alright, let’s see….cash locked, glasses clean, shotgun still here…..trash.” Mutters the redhead to herself as she checks the place over. Grabbing the trash bag, she flicks the lights off and walks out the backdoor, whistling sharply as she throws it out. “Oi! Pull up your pants and go home. Your husband just left.”  

Another fumbling, another grumbling, but the pair quickly dressed up and left, the woman giving the bartender a grateful nod before disappearing behind the corner. Shaking her head, she steps back inside and locks up, making her way above the bar to her place.

“Horny college kids, cheating wives and girlfriends, drunkards boasting about their dirty business…..gotta love hating this place.” Chuckles the redhead to herself as she plops down on her sofa, pouring herself a drink while listening to the TV drone about a new lawyer in town, rumors around the local antique shop and shortage of contraceptives in the area.
