D&D story progression - Sorceress in distress

After a string of luck they were able to bring the Demon down to his vulnerable state but before the party could put him down, he grabs Vem with his giant pincer and flew away. The party gave chase and Echo was able to deal the final blow, but as Vem fell other demons caught her and drags her into their nest, the party continued the chase but was forced to retreat as hordes of demons appear. Vem is now in the heart of the nest..

Its canon, I like how the story is unfolding so far. A lot of emotional roller coaster in the party but in a good way I believe, everyone is enjoying themselves myself included.
