Grand Game Book 8 Update... It's drawing to an end (the book that is, not the series :P)

As some of you have no doubt realized, we are reaching the end of book 8.
There are at least 15 chapters still to go. They are not all written yet, but they will be—and soon! (I'm burning the proverbial midnight oil :))
Anyway, all of them must be released this month (release day is 01 Feb), which means that over the next few days, you're likely to get a whole lot of chapters (yes, you heard that right :)).
The flip side to this is that once those chapters are done and released, there will be no more chapters for the rest of the month while I prepare the book for its final edits and revisions.
Another thing—and this is the bad news—in February, there likely won't be any Grand Game content on Patreon. For about a month, I'll be pausing active writing on the series while I decide which way I want to take the series with the forthcoming books.
That's not to say I won't be posting anything on Patreon in Feb. There will be other content—just not from the Grand Game. But as to what that content will be, I can't say just yet.
Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on where things are going.

What if they were created by someone(primes or someone else) to bring all the separate sectors together. All life will end in that case. Yes. But the goal of the game is to reverse the breaking. If that is the goal, they are working towards that.
