[Dev. Blog #3] Virtual Chastity 2.0 | Key Details

As we approach the closed alpha testing phase, I'm excited to share key details about the current development progress and provide insights into upcoming updates.

- New Logo

I’m excited to present the new logo for the 'Virtual Chastity' project. The main concept, which I developed, features a heart with a lock—symbolizing 'Chastity.' To emphasize the virtual aspect, we added trace/track lines to the heart. A big thank you to our design studio for bringing this idea to life. We plan to refine and enhance the logo in the future.

- Intro Video on release

My team and I are also working on an 'Intro' video to coincide with the app's release date. We hope it helps spread the word about the new version, aiming to: first, provide a valuable tool for those in need during their tech-dom sessions, and second, increase our Patreon supporters. This will allow us to reinvest the funds into development and deliver a higher-quality, more reliable product in the future!

- UX/UI Design (App Design)

At this stage, we haven’t had enough time to hire a professional UX/UI designer, so the design will be kept fairly basic. However, for future updates, I’ll make sure to ask our manager to include a full design overhaul in the update schedule

Main Menu

After accepting the user agreement (currently being drafted by our lawyer), you'll be greeted with a page featuring two buttons: Settings and Activate. By clicking the Activation button, you’ll be able to deactivate the program at any time without restrictions.

Settings:

On the settings page, you’ll have the option to:
A: Set a timer – The maximum value for this version of the app will be 10,080 minutes (1 week).
B: Set a password – No limitations.

Activated Porn Block

After Activation: If you only set the timer, you'll need to wait for the specified time to deactivate the program. If you set a password, you won’t be able to deactivate the program without it, even after the timer expires. In future updates, I plan to introduce an additional "Password Over Timer" feature, which will disable the ability to enter the password and deactivate the program if the timer hasn't expired yet. Currently, the password will override the timer duration.

It only accepts the set password or an emergency password (which I'll explain later). And don’t even think the password is stored somewhere on the computer. Once activated, retrieving the password is impossible due to a robust protection technology (thanks to my years of programming experience)

Credits Page

On the Credits page, you can directly access my Twitter, Patreon, or website. Additionally, there is an 'Emergency Deactivation' button at the bottom left, which leads to a page with instructions for emergency deactivation.

Emergency Deactivation Page

On this page, you can find your unique ID (which may update with each lock or every few days). This ID will be necessary if you forget your password, set the timer for too long, or your "master" leaves you, and you need to regain access immediately for any reason. The process is simple: you send me your ID, and I generate a unique password specifically for you and your current lock. The password cannot be reused.

Locking Mechanism

For now, we will be using the same approach as in Virtual Chastity 1.0. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to improve it in this update. However, in future updates, we will make every effort to ensure that 100% of users do not encounter the bug where the lock fails to work (which occasionally happens at the moment)

Well, that’s all for now. As I mentioned earlier, the alpha testing will begin at the end of September or early October and will be available to all Tier 3 subscribers. The public release will take place on the Discord server of the World Techdom Organization and possibly on my website (if I manage to acquire a server for file storage).
