Like, he taught her to ride a bike (like a dad); he ws always looking out for her (like an older brother/dad), that scene 'I was looking everywhere for you' is always used in media to show a parent caring about their child.

But I would definitely ask yourself why you see US as biased instead of maybe considering any of the HUNDREDS of poitns we've presented over the last 22+ HOURS of footage we've filmed (22 episodes over 3 seasons). Its clear in those actions what Conrad did to hurt Belly it was wayyyy more painful to her than Jeremiah cheating on her. Ultimately she had more to lose with Conrad because she loves him so much deeper. That is why she was able to let the cheating go so easily because the depth of their love doesn't go anywhere near the depth of her love for Conrad. The way I see it, Belly is self-sacrificing herself by choosing what is best for everybody involved instead for herself (and we saw her true feelings revealed in the flashback scene at the bar). She waited to be out of Conrad's sight to breakdown and cry because she knows everything she said to him earlier was a lie. Their characters have now flipped positions. Belly is now the one self protecting like Conrad used to do, while Conrad is the one laying all his feelings out there just like Belly did in the 1st season. Their love has never truly died, but it has never truly lived because neither of them has ever healed nor had grown out of the naivety that they needed when it comes to first true love. Belly have always put Conrad on a pedestal and was constantly deceived by her idealism of her relationship with him. Ultimately, the relationship will not be successful until Belly gets her self identity back. We see that he did the work, but now it's Belly's turn to do hers. She's gonna need time in Paris to come in terms with herself and find out what she wants and needs, learn how to communicate her feelings and do something for herself instead of others.
