2025-05-05 08:18:23 +0000 UTCThis movie came out when I was 12. It's one of the few movies that makes me cry every single time. Vienna makes me cry regardless. If you had asked me at 13 what my life would be would by at 32 almost 33. I would have told you that I would be married and have a great husband, have at least 3 or 4 kids, a big house with a wraparound porch, and be a stay at home mom. I am currently 32. I am very single and have barely dated, no kids, live in a small income based apartment, working part time living paycheck barely make $700 a month. The only dreams of mine from being 13 that came true for me was that I work with kids in some capacity and I live in Lexington, Kentucky again. Like I wanted to. Otherwise not many of my childhood dreams have come true. My church in middle school had a group of girls like the Six Chicks during my youth group days. Ironically, their leader loved this movie and Mean Girls. She mad my life miserable 3 days weeks for 4 years . Her friends weren't mean to me. Although they acted like I didn't exist when she around. Then they were super nice to me. She grew up and married her college sweetheart and has three kids. Age did not make her nicer. She's just as stuck up and elitist as she was in middle and high school.
