I just subscribed to your channel to watch your reactions to the three seasons of heartstopper, but damn you all talk a lot over the show, and you miss so many things. Going to try my best to get through the rest of the seasons, but dammit it’s a bit difficult, I have to be honest. In this episode, you were talking about living in LA when the Imogen told Nick she had a crush on Ben. Going to try and press through, but damn this is rough.

Their reactions didn't convey that very well, and further actions from the mom will probably continue your thought that she is uncomfortable with him being gay, but as far as I've seen and read that is not the case. I've watched all 3 seasons collectively about 10 times, many more times for the first season specifically and a few more of this season also, so I feel confident in how I've interpreted things knowing a fuller picture of the situation. Still, they could have phrased things better. Though, in real life the same sort of unintended misunderstandings happen very often so I almost feel like that was their aim all along. 🤔
