2024-06-29 09:25:45 +0000 UTCSo this is based on a book written by Seth Grahame Smith and I think if you guys like this kind of weird, Tumblr/Wattpad fever dream, but still want VAMPIRES, you should check out Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter! It was another book written by the same author and made into a movie, just as wild as this one. It's also a lot of fun and so absurd. Thank you for watching this!

2024-06-13 19:44:21 +0000 UTC1, this movie was somewhat better than I remembered it, but it does attempt to steal all the good bits from other adaptations... but they come off worse imo. I think the book was a bit better but. It has been years. 2. If you're doing adaptations, Bride and Prejudice and Fire Island are both very unique modern retelling (BnP is Bollywood, Fire Island is queer AF). Also, if you expand to other Jane Austen, idk if you knew this, but Clueless is a modern Emma (and probably my favorite haha).
