Ok, when I saw it for the first time, I liked it, but I was little taken back how much extra it is? But I think watching it through your eyes, how much work went into this movie, I was in awe. And I really loved it. It is always interesting to see movie through different eyes, but especially if it is you two, you always bring something into the movies and I love them even more. Also the painter is played by Rob Brydon, he is a host of Would I Lie to You.

2024-04-20 06:13:06 +0000 UTCI love this movie. I saw in theaters when it came out. I love "Ever After" as well. And Brandy annd Whitney Houston's "Cinderella". I think that Rizzo may still be grieving the loss of his own mother. Grief comes in waves. I still cry from time to time over the loss of my grandfather. And he's been dead for almost 22 years.

2024-04-19 20:45:20 +0000 UTCLily James went on a liquid diet to get her waist to fit into that dress (it's literally 17 inches!!!!). The dress is beautiful, but that's so fucked. If you look at her waist in it, it's inhumanly small. Richard Madden said in interviews how he hated the trousers because he was constantly being told to move his junk in an awkward position, so it wouldn't be visible and "distracting" in the movie. It's so weird that the director of New Moon wrote this. I kind of love that they didn't do revisionist storytelling here like "Maleficent" did. Kenneth Branagh directed it amazingly, but it does sound like aspects of this movie were miserable to shoot. I still think Brandy's film is the best adaptation. "Ever After" being a close second.

2024-04-18 16:45:28 +0000 UTCOh Rizzo, I cry a lot in this movie too :( This is one of the first live actions Disney puts out there I believe, you can feel there was still care and love in this project. It's my favorite one, for sure.
