The internet is still mad about Bobby to this day. Not that I blame them though. The way this was all handled sucks because it wasn't even the plan from the get go but the showrunner decided it on a whim. This episode is really good, though, and I am looking forward to the new season. I am just pretending Bobby is in a lab somewhere.

I absolutely get it that he is grieving, but that to me, still doesn't fully explain his actions during that scene. He is saying hurtful things to a man who literally just lost his father figure (Bobby was more of a dad to Buck than his actual dad ever was) and I just don't get the thought process here. "Trials and tribulations" felt so fucking mean and for what? I just think it is veeeeery interesting that Eddie is allowed to say stuff like this to Buck, but if it had been a Certain Other Man, people would riot about it. The hypocrisy is just laughable. I love Eddie, but he is not above criticism. Hell, there were even talks BTS about whether he should actually punch Buck in that scene and THAT just leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth. Then using Chris as an apology instead of an actual apology? Not the vibe, but it is always good to see Chris! Bless that kid to the moon and back. Oh and the priest is actually not just from before; he is the same priest that Bobby confided in all the way back throughout season 1.
