So, I told you about Ambessa's side of things in the last episode. This episode shows Viktor's side of things. Once he became hex-Jesus, he wanted to "fix" everything broken in people. So, he forcibly took over everyone in order to make them "flawless" and "fix" the problems of the world. The timeline that Jayce was in in season 2 episode 7 was basically what would've happened to Piltover/Zaun if Viktor had succeeded, which would've brought an end to Piltover/Zaun. So, the Viktor of that timeline sent Jayce back to his timeline in order to get him to help Viktor find his humanity again and save Piltover/Zaun. From what I hear, the video game is actually quite different from the show and they follow different storylines (I haven't played the game either, but people who do play the game have told me this). Arcane is over, but the showrunner has plans to make other shows in the League of Legends world that visit other places besides Piltover/Zaun. Season 2 is very entertaining, but it easily falls short of the greatness of season 1 for me. Season 2 is very much style over substance while season 1 did a great job of balancing both. Season 2 felt rushed, predictable, and sort of like a checklist to me in a lot of ways. It has the bigger moments, but failed to back those moments up with the substance that season 1 had. While I really like season 2, it just didn't live up to what season 1 is. I'd give season 2 a strong 7, maybe 7.5 out of 10 (that's a really good score from me), while season 1 is probably around a 9 for me. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed season 2 and the whole show definitely warrants a rewatch
