With that warning out of the way, I needed some advice. After some long and hard thinking, I have decided that Troy will work in an MCU movie soon enough. I know I have never said it outright which character he will play, and now I need your help getting that answer.
After checking out all heroes/villains, there are only two options left for him, the same one he had once told a talk-show host all those years ago. I don't want him to play a villain like Loki or Thanos, because he's already done one villain. Whichever one he does next, it will always be compared to the Joker.
I need this answer now because, based on that, I'll set up his character in the earlier MCU movies. As much as I want him to, he won't do Thor/Captain America/Star-Lord/Anyone else. For me, these are the only two characters he can play.
Maybe I will do another story in the future where the MC can do one of the other roles, but not Troy.
I have even thought up ideas to integrate one of the characters in early movies of the MCU, but I won't tell you which one it is, so as not to sway your votes. If the results are very close, I'll select that character automatically. One character needs at least 60% to win unconditionally.
My reasons for selecting either of the characters:
Deadpool: I dislike Ryan Reynolds a lot, and while I agree he is great as DP, I don't want him in this story. Deadpool is a great character that no one has played yet (not even that horrible 2009 cameo by Reynolds, where they sealed his mouth shut.) With DP, Troy could make the first successful R-rated superhero movie.
Spider-Man: It is an age-appropriate role for Troy, and the most beloved Marvel Superhero ever. The only reason not to do it is that Troy would be in Tobey Maguire's shadow for a while. If we go this route, I will choose the best qualities of Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland to portray this character.
