While the extended absence I'm sure does help, this season is just SO damn good. 🔥 What you said about Peter's Doctor is what so many people say, he grows on you. In season 8 a lot of people aren't sure about him because he's very different to Matt and David who came before him. He's more harsh and intense, in season 8 it feels like a big change. But by season 9 you're more used to him and they definitely give him some more funny lines too which helps. I'm so glad you're starting to like him now. I'm also glad they split this story across two parts, it really needed it. It's a BRILLIANT mystery but a very complex one, it would've felt way too rushed if they'd try to fit it into one episode. Taking their time with this one is one reason it works so well. Plus all the actors are fantastic. Oh and yes, "you can't say boo to a goose" is a famous British saying for someone who's cowardly. No idea why. 😂
