Yeah, they really went there at the end. Them only showing the blood-tinged shield at the end actually made that scene even more chilling

2025-08-15 01:24:36 +0000 UTCThe scene between Sam and Karli talking (and seriously he was getting somewhere, without the interference I truly believe we woule have gotten at least an interrim truce to start serious negotiating) and between Sam and Zemo really shwcased the very reasonable decisiom from Steve to make Sam his successor. Just like Steve Sam isn't in the fight for glory - he truly believes into leading people into making the right choices, which were always Steves ideals as well! As for Walker: the sad truth is that he seems to be an okay guy, who was hyped up by everyone and put on a pedastal and now feels that he has to reach and surpass those expactionions. Well, the serum enhances every aspect of you. So yeah, there you go... Sadly, would he have given the Serum to Lemarr, who was always happy to promote the qualities of others while not shying away of his own accomplishements, you would have ended up with a government selected "Cpt America" with his golden hair and blue eyes and perfect recors, and the actual successor Lemarr with Steves morals and humility. It would have been fucking perfect! But Walkers hubris and ego was just too big... So we ended up with the most poignent image to mark the death of the idea of golden boy captain america.......
