Added 2024-09-05 10:55:02 +0000 UTCFirst of all, let me assure you all that I have no intention to start a new story any time soon. All my focus will remain on completing Dreams of Stardom for the time being.
That said, sometimes in free time your mind is full of ideas, and you can't help but think of a new story. (My fellow writers will understand this.) So I created this poll, just to see which of these eras of Hollywood would be more receptive to my readers.
PS: I'm focusing on developing showbiz related stories only for the time being. The films mentioned below are just so you know which era I'm talking about. The MC may or may not end up doing them.

I have a story outlined where the MC is reborn in 1960 and makes his debut in 1980 with Blue Lagoon. Another one, reborn in 1950, where MC is half Italian and does the Godfather. I cannot go before that because even I haven't seen most movies of the 50s and the 60s. People want to read more recent stuff from what I can see here.

2024-09-06 12:51:59 +0000 UTC60s is my favorite era as well, but I wanted to clarify a few things. It won't have Troy, but an entirely new MC. Also 60s mean he'd be born in 60s, he'll become an actor in the 80s most probably, so no meeting Elvis, Lennon, or anyone who died before then.
