Yeah i think they forgot about her a bit. Daniel’s whole story was about trying to find her and she was only in 4 episodes including this one and 2 of them were the double length s1 premier. so outside of her introduction and death she was only in 1 episode (the one when she gave birth). They mentioned her quite a lot early on but not recently. It’s a shame because it could have been a lot more as a story point i feel like.

2025-07-12 02:05:44 +0000 UTCI don't think they gave the audience enough time to love her, before she was taken and made evil. So, you are not alone in not having a ton of attachment to her. I had trouble connecting to Daniel at first also, because this actor is not the equal of James Spader (who was Daniel in the movie). The Kurt Russell switch to Richard Dean Anderson didn't bother me as much, as I already loved both actors. Although seeing MacGyver playing Jack was a bit of an adjustment.
