Such a great opening episode, I really love this show. And it's awesome that you met Anthony many years back, my friend met him two years ago at a comic con and said he was lovely. I'm glad that he's getting this big leading role now. 😊

Before this show, I always loved the action sequences involving Sam, so starting off the show like that definitely put me in a good mood when this was first airing. Btw, you've seen the main bad guy in that sequence before in Captain America Winter Soldier. He faced good ol' Steve Rogers by taunting him (basically told Cap that he needed the shield in order to beat him, then Cap laid his ass out without the shield 🤣🤣🤣). Character's name is Batroc the Leaper. I won't say anything more about the rest of the show until later because spoilers lol

That one confused me as well, when I first watched the show, so I googled it and got into a wormhole of historical propaganda for days... But essentially it is a real historical propaganda poster from the US. During WW2 advocating silence was a big part of the war effort. The idea was that if you know something about military movements or innovations or anything don't talk about it! You never know who is listening and who might leak that information to the enemy. So if for example you have a brother in the army and he writes you from the front. Don't even tell your friends something like "They are moving towards Paris, he said. It must be so scary, but I'm so proud!" Or something innocuous like that. The wrong person might deduce army movements from that. Hence the pledging silence...
