I thought the first few episodes were fine, but this one was probably the first one where I thought, "Okay, I think I'm in! This one was fun and interesting." I was intrigued by the (admittedly gross) case, I liked Jack and Zack "fighting" over the hot courier (and her choosing Angela in the end, lol), and overall it was an interesting look at all the characters including the secondary ones. It made me want to know more about all of them. :) Plus, I think by this point I had a little crush on the actor who plays Jack Hodgins. TJ Thyne is adorable. ;)

2025-07-22 05:51:38 +0000 UTCPet peeve: as a former "vet lady," I never really understood the need to call it a necropsy for any species other than the human animal. I also think it's out of character for Dr Brennan not to specify "other species" when she's very literal and knows that humans are animals as well. (I do understand the etymology of the words and the technical reason for their usage though.)
