2025-04-10 00:30:48 +0000 UTCI have to admit, stupid as it may be, misunderstandings humor has got to be one of my favorites because it never fails to make me crack up 😂 And in this ep we got a double dose of it with the running gag of Gloria, Jay, and the dog butler, and then Luke admitting to reading Haley’s journal while Claire thinks he’s talking about the porn. HI-larious stuff in my book! 😆

I didn't understand all the praise and Emmy success when you first started watching and I didn't really laugh at anything, but late into the season I'm finding myself really enjoying it and I almost died laughing at the butler wedding moment. I do like how relatively clean it is for a modern sitcom. I'm of the old fashioned belief that if you can't tell a joke without profanity or vulgar comedy, you shouldn't be telling a joke at all. And even in an episode about porn, it never felt uncomfortable or overstayed its welcome. And the acting and line delivery is a lot better than many modern sitcoms too.
