I had forgotten how much I enjoyed watching Modern Family! I remember discovering the show in high school and binge watching the first couple seasons and getting hooked as a viewer until it ended. Now I get to enjoy rewatching it thru your reactions 😄

I know Jesse (Mitch irl) is gay and I do remember him also saying Eric would check in with him a lot to make sure he's on the right track and Jesse had to tell him to stop because he was doing a fantastic job. I remember Jesse talking a bit about it on his podcast

2025-03-28 18:56:19 +0000 UTCI can't find it now but I believe I read that the actor who plays Cam would refuse to discuss or make a big deal about him being straight because he didn't want to come across like it would be a bad thing if he was gay and make it seem like he was defensive about being straight.
