The Monica and Richard situation is a prime example of why I think it's SO important to dicuss whether you want kids and whether you want to get married very early on in the relationship, maybe even on the first date. I learnt that the hard way in the past and I know many other people who have too. Personally I want to get married but I don't want kids and a lot of guys and girls have a big problem with that I've found. It really can be hard to find someone who wants the same things out of life and out of a relationship as you do. So I understand why Monica and Richard had to break up, they just weren't made for each other. 💕 As for the Joey storyline, I loved that. Really funny and he really was very comfortable with kissing a guy and discussing it. I'm SO sure he's at least bi and no one can tell me otherwise. 😂 I'll look forward to season 3. 🎉

I quote Chandlers “How do you not fall down more?” line all the time. Such great delivery 😂

That episode was pretty good and I actually burst out laughing with that last scene (which doesn't always happen). Also you cracked me up with your comments about Joey's situation. Oh and I just LOVE that we got to see Janice again. I didn't think it would happen.

This finale felt very different from season 1’s finale, no real cliffhangers. But with Monica and Richard’s relationship seemingly ending we at least got closure on one storyline. And we got the possibility of another story opening (Chandler and Janice). Janice just seems to always finds her way back to Chandler 😂

I love how much most Friends reactors love Janice! And in spite of the fact that Chandler (bless him) hasn't really been a good boyfriend to her in the past, I've always loved how he walks up to her and kisses her in the coffeehouse. Kind of reminds me of Ross and Rachel's (first real) kiss, it's so romantic. About Monica and Richard, it was kind of inevitable. They never had the 'talk' but Monica was always clear that she wanted kids and then there was Richard talking about his grown kids and grandkids. Monica was very mature in that moment, even more so than Richard (though his intentions were good). She knew he was just settling and in the long run it wouldn't have worked. Still sucks. On another note, I never understood why they were at the wedding. They didn't know Barry or Mindy and Monica wasn't even at Rachel's wedding to Barry because they had drifted apart. But I guess maybe Richard knew him, with both of them being doctors, and Monica came as his date. I’m also surprised they even allowed Rachel to bring a guest considering how they were treating her. And it sucks that Mindy didn’t even try to defend her. Like I get Barry is her husband and Rachel hurt him, but he and Mindy were seeing each other behind Rachel's back when they were together. Mindy is also the one who kept insisting Rachel be her maid of honour. Imagine spending your own wedding reception trashing your ex/your husband's ex who was also your best friend. Rachel dodged a bullet with that one. I just love her character growth so much. Her basically telling everyone at the wedding "you don’t define me" felt like it was also her essentially closing that whole chapter of her life for good. And "I'm sorry, we don't have your sheep" is a reference to a nursery poem called Little Bo Peep whom Rachel looks like. "Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep and doesn't know where to find them..." I never got it until I looked it up.

Oh, poor Ross with that ending 🤣🤣🤣 At least Joey gave you a positive review lol

‘What does Warren Beatty know about kissing’ A lot- he was one of the actors involved in the first on screen French kiss He also is known to have had over 100 romantic partners before getting married

Yep! Fun Fact: (idk maybe you already know) the original Mindy was Jennifer Grey AKA ‘Baby’ from Dirty Dancing and the sister from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. 😊

Jenn S.

You’re right, they recast Mindy and it’s a different actress than S1.
