(Going based off S1 alone- and I literally remember nothing from PLL so that’s all I can go on anyway) Mona was just occasional but hard core bitch annoyance here and there. Simone is all up in shit right now and I just want her GONE 😡 Also they showed snippets of Mona before as like a nerdy type getting bullied herself so there’s some clear overcompensation for low self esteem going on there. Simone we literally get nothing from other than awfulness. Lastly PLL is just so much campier than this show so it’s hard to take anything/anyone from that world seriously imo 🤣
