I think because this is one time that I think the writers got it wrong. I think someone should have kept Betsy. Then they could have had a storyline of them helping get Betsy the help she needed.

2025-01-28 18:36:47 +0000 UTCoooh i do feel a little like fuck all them? because like i really do feel like Dell would absolutely step up for any of their children, like Sam said he literally died protecting his child. like idk none of them couldโve even fostered her until they made sure she found the perfect home?? or like called Naomi to see if she would take Besty and just like hold her until she got back? idk cuz in actuality the system is fucked and her odds of getting to live out that fantasy Violet talked about arenโt very high. itโs like with how close they all were i really really do think they did wrong by poor Besty and Dellโs memory. and that poor kid i think his name was Kenny? like imagine hearing you mom sobbing talking about how ashamed she is to have raised a weak little baby?? like girl you were probably the straw that broke the camels back! and ntm miss girl you taking him out of school every single time something happens probably contributes greatly to him not knowing really how to defend himself. they both need therapy๐ฎโ๐จ

Like what Sam said, Dell died helping his own child and they didn't even really consider taking her in even for a few months. She's just going to go to a foster family until she gets placed most likely. I haven't watched this series this far into the show but I really thought Naomi was gonna come in from her trip to claim Betsy herself. ๐ค lol and now I'm mad the writers didn't think to do this.

I felt for Betsy and Violet here though. But hey, once more PP is doing what it does best and makes us think about conflicting things.
