exactlyyyy what you said at the end about Kathryn! she’s become such a real ass bitch like i’m gonna ride for her now😂😭 like come through with the maturity she made me emotional And i do think it’s definitely commendable, Regina’s resilience to keep coming back after hearing both her daughters don’t want her at their birthdays , are moving out of houses to get away from her, like i do think not everyone could do that, or at least as quickly. but also like you, im not a parent so all that is conjecture 😂 And while i think bay and Emmett are cute as shit, i don’t think he and daphne make more sense. and i also don’t like the little comments bay makes about like him not talking and her not signing, like she did ask him if he would take speech therapy so that’s another time Emmett lied to his mom about her. like i just don’t see them being super compatible right now, unless she gets real fluent in asl and quick or he excels in speech therapy expeditiously

She’s definitely had some rough moments coming a lot from ignorance I think but she means well and she learns which I love. I actually think her and Regina would make an awesome duo if they could work through things and be friends. Regina is so tough and brave and has lived through experiences that have given her strength and perspective and Kathryn is so warm and loving but not always able to assert herself, so seems like they could learn from each other and make a pretty kickass pair of moms for the girls. “Deafenstein” I’m pretty sure was something they made up for the show but I think it was inspired by “Deafula”, an actual movie made in the 70s as a Dracula parody in ASL.
