If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times: Bellamy Young is BRILLIANT as Mellie. The way she portrayed the grief and the not wanting to get dressed or do anything but be with her son, the way she just barely held it together at the speech, the way you could see the resolve and also the brokenness in her eyes, and then the breakdown...GOOD LORD the breakdown.
