That episode was pretty fun and I cracked up at the whole conversation between Rachel and Monica being played as if Monica cheated on Rachel. Also I get what you mean with words and things being okay then and not to change it to match today's values. I also feel it's unecessary, let's just consider the time shows air and react accordingly.

I disagree with you too and I don't think we will agree on this so I'll leave it at that. 👍

I couldn’t disagree more, some people like me are white Irish born and nobody bats an eye against racism towards us (I’m also not offended by it, just calling out the double standard). I’ve met black people who don’t care about race jokes against them because black people from my experience are able to handle jokes more then white people. Jokes all stem from a source of truth. I’m also not advocating for racism in real life, like I wouldn’t go up to a black guy and call him an N word, but if a show made jokes about certain things then people shouldn’t cry about it, they should just move on and ignore it because it really isn’t as serious as people would have you believe.

There's a difference between being easily offended and between understanding when a joke becomes unacceptable. The joke in question in this episode is unacceptable because of the horrible history of non Jewish people calling Jewish people that word. In the same way calling black people the n word or gay people the f word is unacceptable. It's about history. Now I'm someone who loves dark comedy that gets close to the line, some of my favourite comedians are Jimmy Carr and Matt Rife. But there are some lines you don't cross these days and those lines have very good reasons behind them. As I said in my original comment, I don't think jokes like this should be removed and we can still find them funny, because they were intended to be, but we don't have to like or approve of those jokes. That doesn't make us easily offended, it makes us understanding and empathetic towards marginalized groups of people. That's how I see it anyway.

Comedy is subjective, if a show made a joke that people deem disrespectful or whatever nowadays it says more about the people who can’t handle a joke then the show itself. Personally when people say things like “that joke is in bad taste today” I have no interest in talking to that person as they are easily offended. People need to just stop being babies and either enjoy a joke or not enjoy it.

As a parent myself, I would say it’s pretty normal to have tasted breast milk, lol.

Yay friends! I just binge watched the last 6 eps of Veronica mars s2 reactions 🤣I didn’t know what was going to happen so I was invested lol

Another great episode, season 2 is such a step up. I think they spent season 1 figuring out what they wanted these characters to be and now they know they've started to really let loose. All the breast milk stuff was hilarious, I also don't think I could drink it lol. I can't believe Ross chugged it like that. 😂 And I agree with what you said at the end. I love a lot of older shows and movies and yes there are jokes and dialogue that wouldn't be acceptable now, just like the j*w joke in this episode. But we have to see shows/movies as a product of their time. We learn from the mistakes we made back then but we can only learn if we can look back and see what we were doing wrong, erasing those things and ignoring them won't help to make the world better. And also erasing those things can affect the flow and storlyine in a negative way. 💯

Joey: If you blow into one side, does the other get bigger? Chandler freaking out about the breast milk ("What did you just do?!?") is hilarious as is how Ross reacted to finding out that Susan has tried it 🤣🤣🤣 I could've done without the whole Joey-cologne storyline, but the ending of that storyline was funny. And I agree. Don't change the dialogue in an older series to match today's values. We know the difference lol
