Agreed even though they aren't sisters, its close enough in my book since they share parents and live in the same household. Even though Daphne is not intentionally invading Bae's life, I 100% get why it feels that way, and they could both stand to be more empathetic of the other.

2025-01-21 20:45:06 +0000 UTCThe actress who plays Daphne has Ménière’s disease, which makes her hard of hearing but it fluctuates in and out. some people with it can be basically deaf for hours or days and then it comes back in depending on how severe their cases are. her sister has it to and i think one of her parents.

Like the situation with Liam sucked for Bae, but Daphne was spot on calling her out and was STILL the bigger person by breaking up w/him. Liam and Daphne are so cute together though :(((((

Emmett is deaf in real life and Daphne fakes her "deaf accent" but she is hard of hearing due to Meniere's disease.
