The unsub is Alex O’Loughlin from Hawaii Five-0 and Moonlight, and the (criminally underutilized) female cop is Erika Alexander from… well, damn near everything but most notably to me from Living Single. And that kid was so great! This show is so good.

Bc Vincent did terrible things that yeah he should’ve taken accountability for but also there’s the nuance of him not only developing into a serial killer bc of his traumatic childhood but also developing severe OCD that I’m pretty sure is the cause of him killing……like the guy seemed liked the stress of his moms death made him recreate it in an obsessive compulsive way just like I think it was Rossi who compared it to alcoholism. The man is obviously still at fault and responsible but there’s just so much nuance to how that happened which is so interesting and tragic above all. And of course the kid made me cry so much! Also I’m glad you kinda mentioned it while you watched, like how did no one know that Black lady was visiting Vincent? Or did they just conveniently skip the part of interviewing everyone she knew and combing through her life bc she wasn’t deemed an important enough victim right off bat just for the sake of stretching the episode? Like first thing they should’ve done was have Garcia check to see if she knew anyone named Vincent and they would’ve found him so much faster

2024-12-08 20:51:30 +0000 UTCI didn't cry the first time watching this, but somehow seeing your reaction made me cry uncontrollably. It's devastating to lose anyone you love, but to lose them in the manner that he lost his mom was just so horrific. It makes you interested more into the minds of serial killers, because most believe they have no feelings and no remorse, but this man didn't seem to want to do what he was doing, and he had feelings toward the kid and cared about him and seen everything special about him.
