2024-12-15 03:04:40 +0000 UTCThere were so many options Drizella could have taken other than the curse...but then they couldn't remake season 1 if they had I suppose. She could have killed Anastasia. She could have killed Tremaine, since the whole point of the curse was to escape her mother. And speaking of that, that one act was enough to turn her heart black? Snow killed Cora and she only had a smudge on her heart. Rumple had years of evil atrocities and he still had a sliver of his pure heart left before the Blue Fairy had to intervene. I also didn't realize until now but of all the questions surrounding the photo, the biggest one should have been why did Henry age but Regina didn't?

2024-12-07 15:18:44 +0000 UTCI didn’t really like this season. It’s the casting of Ella that is totaly off because she does not have chemisette with Henry. I liked the last episodes but I really prefer previous sessions because of the action.

2024-12-06 01:41:49 +0000 UTCWake Up Call- Thank you so much for another great reaction, Travis!!! I enjoy this episode! It is really good! :) First... This episode certainly doesn't go in the direction I was expecting. However, I absolutely love that Ivy wakes Regina up! I didn't see this coming, and I think this is what I love most about this episode!! Because we see someone other than just Rumple awake again while the dark curse is still upon our heroes and beloved characters. And it's wonderful having Regina back as herself, or at least as much to herself as she is able to be while she's still having to act like Roni around Henry and everyone else still asleep under the curse. Plus, the big role Ivy/Drizella plays in this episode... I mean, I had no idea just how strong of a character Drizella really was. And now we've learned infinitively that she is actually the one who really instigated the curse, and not Lady Tremaine like everyone until now has been led to believe. But what did Drizella do to everyone that Regina is so afraid of? And yikes! This is the first time there is actually a major consequence to them directly breaking the dark curse, other than seeing our heroes simply losing their memories, or one of them remembering something's been done to them like when Killian remembered being turned into the Dark One by Emma back in season five's episode, titled... Birth. A real consequence that could immediately harm those Regina loves. Completely different than before it seems, and now this season has really kicked up a few notches!!! Bravo! :) I was not surprised that both Henry and Regina are so quick to come up with a legitimate, non magical reason for the picture Roni finds of them together in the end of the previous episode, titled... Greenbacks. However, I am a little disheartened because we know the truth. And I love seeing Roni pick up the bat to go after Victoria with it upon thinking she is messing with them until Henry stops her. So funny! Then, later Lucy comes charging in to see the picture thanks to Ivy opening her big mouth, only Henry of course thinks she is talking about the photos Ivy has been posting all over the social media sites of her and him together to try to split him and Jacinda up. Boo! I don't like this. I really hate this whole triangle, but I get it. I enjoy the fight in the beginning between Henry, Ella, and the bandits who want to steal his motorcycle. I even enjoy seeing Henry showing Ella how to fix the bike. It is cute, even though I still have yet to see any real chemistry between them, like we see in the other True Love couples in this show. Henry's relationship with Ella/Jacinda grows on me a little bit more after this episode. But just a little. Although, the chemistry between them isn't nearly as strong as some of the other True Love couples we've seen in the show until now. Not at all. I still don't feel them, just like you. But then they are their own, so it's not so much a bad thing. I hate comparing Henry and Ella to the True Love couples we do love so much just as you mentioned, Travis. But it really is just so hard not to, because I love the others so, so very much!! Especially Emma and Killian, Snow and Charming, and Regina and Robin Hood. And yes... I absolutely agree with you that I miss them all. I miss seeing Killian and Emma together. So much. I mean... We have Rogers, whom I love and absolutely consider to be another of my absolute favorite characters all throughout this show too. But he isn't Killian, and he's certainly not trying to be. Which I also love and appreciate about him too. It's just that I miss Killian... Our Hook, from seasons two through six as well. But with this being said...While I understand why you're definitely struggling with this season so much and all of its changes in spite of you still enjoying it, I absolutely love this season!!! Just like I love seasons one through six as well. In spite of this season's flaws. And to me... In spite of all the changes and this season's new characters and old characters' new cursed personas, I still feel like it fits in perfectly with all the rest of Once Upon a Time. This season still feels like Once Upon a Time to me. There's just something very special... Very whimsical... And maybe even magical... And this show makes me feel good whenever I watch it. It gives me hope, which is what this show is all about and what it teaches. It's a very prominent lesson and the most important message we're meant to take away from this show, and season seven still gives me all of these feels. So, I love it still, in spite of its flaws and bad casting choice for Henry's love interest. I hope that by the end of season seven... You too will come to love it and feel this way as well,my friend. If only a little. I love seeing Regina appear to protect Henry with her powers until she realizes he doesn't need her help anymore like he used to. Oh... And Regina looks amazing in the flashbacks by the way, as she always does!! Her clothes as always are fabulous! I also really love seeing the scenes between Rogers and Weaver, as well as between Weaver and Roni now that we know Gold is awake. And it's funny seeing him kick the wheelchair away and then walk out of the hospital on his own. And I absolutely love the one scene between Rogers and Tilly in the shipping container, as Tilly teaches him to look closer at the chessboard for answers. I love how Tilly helps him to try looking at his case differently. And eventually, Rogers finds the suspect from the last episode dead in his home. And it's made me very excited for more within this storyline! This moment between Rogers and Tilly is easily one of my favorite scenes throughout this episode for sure!! I love them together!!! :) And I love when Roni comes to Rumple seeking help with her "possible adoption" of Henry. Classic Gold is back, and he's making deals again. I can't help but wonder if he is going to continue to try to be good for Belle's sake so he can one day get back to her, yet be the man she can be proud of, or if he's going to be sneaky and seek power like he's always done before, but this time out of grief. He certainly appears to be heading down the dark path again. But maybe not. Which brings me to the scene between Rumple and Regina in the backstory... I like how he tells her about Belle. That she sees he had truly changed for the better because of Belle, and then how he gives Regina fantastic advice about Drizella, and warns her about helping the younger woman. Unfortunately for Regina, Rumple is right and Drizella is so quick to dismiss Regina's help any longer because she refuses to help her kill Lady Tremaine. It's sad how Lady Tremaine loves only Anastasia, and I actually feel a little badly for Drizella briefly. But then she turns dark very quickly. Drizella so far appears to really be the big villain of this season, but don't forget about the villainess locked up in Victoria's tower. I like the twist in this storyline, and I like both Drizella and Lady Tremaine. It's also funny how Regina can relate to so many people in this show. She relates herself to Ella in this season's third episode, titled... The Garden of Forking Paths, and again in this episode to Drizella. I love seeing Regina try to train Drizella to use her magic, especially when she makes the mountain crumble above herself to motivate Drizella to save her. Regina risks her own life. Crazy!! I love the final scenes between Regina and Henry as he assures her that he will always need her. They are beautiful and it almost makes me cry even. My heart breaks for Regina because she wants more than anything to help her son remember, and yet she can't thanks to whatever Drizella has done to ensure that the dark curse cast over them all is unbreakable. What I don't like though, even though it makes sense for his storyline... It's that once again Henry's another character who believes he's been abandoned by his parents. This has been done so many times before. Not that his cursed memories are a bad thing, but it's all just been done so many times. I wish his false memories have made him believe something more original. I love this storyline for Emma and Killian, whose father actually abandoned him for selfish reasons and not for love like Snow and David did for Emma. And I love this storyline for Henry originally in all the previous seasons. Although, he always believed that Emma had given him up so he could have his best chance like Snow and Charming did for Emma. I even like the belief of abandonment by their parents story for a number of our characters throughout this show. But come on writers and creators... Be creative! Overall... I really like this episode a lot!! Regina is brilliant and so is Drizella! Bravo to them!! I wish there had been more with Rogers within this episode, but oh well... Oh... And don't worry about any questions you may have regarding Lady Tremaine and just how much she really knows. The answers will come soon. Thank you very much, my dear friend! Sincerely, Heidi

2024-12-04 14:38:48 +0000 UTCThe scene where Ivy wakes Regina is one of my favorites of the whole series. Both actresses work SO well off each other and the cruel irony of Regina being awake and suffering for it is perfect.
