Denny made such a great older brother in this episode. Mara's 911 call is just heartbreaking 😭😭😭 Love Maddie and Eddie being supportive of Buck's sexuality! Man, when I saw this ending when it was first airing, I was like, "Say what?!?"

Also, Tommy calling Buck Evan is a lot to take in, but I feel like it means a more mature side to our favorite impulsive firefighter. He could've said he prefers to be called Buck at any time, but he hasn't yet.

Buck had NO right shoving Tommy back in the closet either, but no mention of that? That is an extremely insensitive thing to do. He wasn't trying to out Buck, you just take everything Tommy does and twist it into something far worse than it is. But ay, that's why it is so good that even after they both made stupid comments, they still decided to forgive and forget, and still chose to be together.

I loved this episode. Marisol's ex is "the Lord." Thanks Bobby. The way Buck came out to Maddie and Eddie? Both of those scenes were perfect. I laughed so hard during the Maddie scene, and Eddie's made me go "aaawwww." The cute coffee date at the end too, with Buck the perfect blend of bashful and confident, and Tommy so kind and understanding with him. Other stuff: Denny already acting like a protective big brother to Mara was so sweet. And as far as the actual emergencies? Alien hand, y'all. Alien hand. We gots alien hands up in here. It was friggin' comedy gold! And kudos to that actor, he really went all in for it!

I’m truly shocked that you don’t get spoiled for just about everything, since you watch so much. 🤣 Especially this show! It really bugs me that Tommy made that closet joke. Really? You hide in the closet for YEARS and risk outing your date to his best friend on his first date with a guy? If Eddie weren’t clueless, he would have picked up on it. That was so dangerous. He had no idea what Eddie would have done. I love what Hen and Karen are doing for Mara, and Denny is SUCH a good brother! He was great with Nia and now Mara as well.

COFFEE DATE MY MOST BELOVED. <3 - They truly are adorable and I love how much Buck has grown. The open communication between him and Tommy, trying to talk things out in a healthy way is refreshing, Buck jumping right in with a wedding date invitation, yet Tommy jumped right in after him and actually agreed? Let's go, they're both freaks, yippie! And as a side bonus; adding a song by a gay indie artist to that moment just really means a lot. Such a bright soft moment of queer joy between these two masc men. And both Maddie & Eddie's reactions were perfect in their own way. Maddie with it being a little bit silly, while Eddie's was more on the emotional side. My one complaint of the episode is they didn't need to like draw comparison to the dog and Mara. I could have done without that. I get what they were going for, but it could have been handled more tactfully.
