and I get that don’t get me wrong but since they did bring him back I would’ve liked to see maybe some context to how he grew maybe talk about it but it’s clear they just wanted to ignore the past to make it easier for them to move forward with the story and honestly I would’ve been fine with that had his past been not so disgusting. Again tho it is what it is and they wrote him the way they did so not much I can say other than I’m disappointed with how they handled his character

Sorry, but how are they supposed to show Tommy's growth when he was in flashback episodes (that did display his growth in fact) and he was simply supposed to be a one off character. They didn't know back in season 2 that they would eventually bring him back, so I don't really think that's a fair criticism. Not saying you must like the guy, absolutely not, you do you - but ignoring his development is tired at this point.

Yeah I understand everyone is human everyone makes mistakes but as a person of color I would have liked to have seen this “change and growth” rather than be like oh well guess he’s better now. That doesn’t work for me, again this is my personal opinion. And tbf calling Tommy and hen friends when they hadn’t kept in touch since he left is a stretch

And the show has also made it very clear that he isn't that person anymore. He was even friends with Hen and Chim (see 2x16 for that because that episode gets ignored a lot) His past isn't ignored, but moreso the show is telling us that he has grown, and did so many years ago. Plus, all of our characters are deeply flawed people, but they all have grown and learned to be better too.

When I saw this episode I remembered him being very unwelcoming (and very rude/offensive) to Hen and Chim so I wasn’t the happiest he was here. I do appreciate that he helped the team. I just wish the show did a better job at actually showing this character change but that’s just my opinion :)

“It’s so unrealistic but it’s so frickin good” should be the official tagline of the show. 😂 I love this opening disaster, but I’m not sure it’s my favorite. Though it’s hard to pick. The other day, I watched a show that had the guy who plays Norman in it (not a Travis reaction, just a regular show) and he was a super bad guy, and it was so weird. 🤣
