2024-10-20 15:51:53 +0000 UTCSo this was the second episode of Band of Brothers "Day of Days" which follows Easy Company's jump into Normandy and the capturing of the German guns at Brécourt Manor, France. There is still an Easy Company Memorial outside of today's manor. It will definitely take some time to identify each of the men, which is a difficult task with only 10 episodes in total. So I would also recommend a second watch off-screen afterwards when you know some of the faces already. Some of the key figures you've gotten to know though are Lt. Winters (who Daniel Lewis plays amazingly) and some of Easy including Bill Guarnière, Joe Toye, Donald Malarkey, Buck Compton and Carwood Lipton. Some other of Easy company you will recognize once they have more screen time. One of the most intriguing characters is Lt. Spiers, who gets introduced in this episode, where he is passing smokes to the German PoWs and then "shooting" them. And later on where he rakes the last German gun by running out of the trench. This action sequence is really good this episode and there will be other good ones coming as well. All I will say is that the shaky camera will continue, which as you mentioned makes a lot of sense with a miniseries like this. Enjoy the rest of the 8 episodes! Looking forward to it.

If we aren't talking sh*t, and you aren't giving it right back too us...we don't like you all that much. The second you give us mess back, you're in our squad forever lol
