hey, sorry if this isnt the place to ask this question, but i am just wondering how long do you wait in between seasons of shows (ik this show was a limited series). I just want to know cuz im waiting on Criminal Minds and the closer😭. I just want to know when to expect them to come back. Also, you should check out this show called Nikita

And slight book spoiler……………………… it’s described in the book as “the sweetest kiss either of them would ever know” 🥹

2024-09-22 19:24:00 +0000 UTCI'm sorry it ends that way, but it really doesn't mean it isn't an incredible job, and I'm glad you thought that. I know we all like a happy ending, but I think this proves things don't always go the way we'd planned, and stuff like this happens pretty often I'd think. It is so heartbreaking. I think I cried most of this episode. And I always found the flashback at the end very bittersweet, as if he'd actually kissed her that first time round in the first episode, they probably would've been together longer. I think it teaches us a lot about just going after what we want, and having no regrets. I think that's what Dex wishes he had done anyway. But then I suppose he wouldn't have Jasmine, who he shared all those memories with Emma with. It is a sad ending, but such a well written, brilliantly acted and wonderfully scored show all round.

In the end we realize we are watching Emma’s “death day” every ep. where as we ( or at least I) thought the purpose of us seeing that day was it being the day they met.
